GrassRoots Athletics is a dynamic and exciting youth track and field and cross-country running club, providing expert coaching and instruction to athletes of all levels. Based in South Orange County, our programs are designed to help young athletes reach their full potential through a science-based approach that focuses on physiological development, mental preparation, and nutritional improvement.

Our training sessions are a combination of dynamic warm-ups, stretches, and event-specific techniques, all aimed at helping athletes improve their performance and prevent injuries. Our goal is to provide athletes with a fun environment and space to learn and build confidence.

MEMBERSHIP FEE INFORMATION

GrassRoots Athletics USATF Membership CertificateMembership is extended to anyone who is eligible to compete as a youth athlete ages 5 – 18. Physically able to do so, and complies with the rules, regulations, and policies set by the club and USATF.

Registration is for new and returning athletes. The initial registration fee includes the 1st month’s dues of $175.00 (some specialty events may have a higher monthly fee).

  • New Athlete: $395.00
  • Returning Athlete: $275.00 (Includes team shirt)

Additional family member: less 15% of monthly dues.

*Waiver and recreation forms required

* Per USATF Rule 300.1 (c) “Athletes must be at least seven (7) years of age on December 31 of the current year to compete at the Youth Athletics or Junior Olympic National Championships.”

** Athletes who are still 18 through the final day of the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships are eligible to compete in the 17-18 age division through that meet. This extended eligibility does not apply to cross country events.
